When I started this project there was only one goal: Do Dale Earnhardt’s Nascar lookin car with “2019 spices”.
I did and I do not regret the decision.
When it was painted to black it looked so so good, but so many wet dreams that Dales car, there’s no turning back.
That’s been crazy how much good and positive feedback people have sent. THANK YOU ALL !!
Here some specs what’s done so far:
The car is 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo LS model.
Wheel/Tire:
15×10 offset -44 wheels with 265/50R15 VitourGT radial tyres.
(at first pictures I also have 255/60r15)
Suspension:
QA1 coilovers / belltech drop spindles
Now 12″/ 200lb rear spring but I change it to 130lb, let’s see how that works.
(also I think rear shock is too long I may change it shorter)
Exterior:
Bodywork/rust repair and painted to black.
Universal Fender flares cutted to fit.
Please note ! that orginal fenders cutted a lot. Link what’s done here.
Chevy CK pickup (88-98) front spoiler cutted to fit.
Self made front fender extensions.
Self made carbon rear spoiler and carbon sideskirt addons.
Headlights tinted
Bumperlights are from 1988 Caprice.
Dale Earnhardt Nascar style wrap
Still in project… needs engine / trans , interior etc.
